Skin and scalp treatments, tailored after assessment
Each treatment below is offered only after a one-on-one consultation, where your skin, health history and goals are assessed. We’ll explain what each option involves, including recovery and risks, so you can decide what is right for you.

Our Skin and scalp treatments
Microneedling
Microneedling uses a professional device to create fine, controlled micro-channels in the skin. These channels prompt the skin’s natural healing response. It is offered at three levels, chosen with you during consultation.

What it involves
After cleansing, a topical numbing cream may be applied. A sterile, single-use needle cartridge is then passed gently across the treatment area with a professional microneedling device. The skin is soothed and protected at the end of the appointment.
Who it may suit
People who would like to discuss skin texture, the appearance of pores, or overall skin quality. Suitability is assessed individually.
Not suitable for everyone
Microneedling may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active acne, infection or inflammation in the area, with a tendency to keloid scarring, or with some medications. Your full health history is reviewed in consultation.
Number of sessions
Microneedling is often recommended as a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart. Your practitioner will advise what may suit you.
Recovery & downtime
Redness and a feeling similar to mild sunburn are common for one to three days. Some people notice dryness, tightness or light flaking for a few days afterwards. Most people can return to normal activities soon after, but we recommend avoiding make-up, exercise and sun exposure for the period advised in your aftercare.
Possible risks & side effects
Common: temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, pinpoint bleeding, minor bruising, dryness or flaking. Less common: breakouts, infection, changes in skin pigmentation, or a reaction to products used. All risks are discussed with you before treatment.

Scalp Microneedling
Microneedling of the scalp, performed with a professional device, with a professional cosmetic serum applied during treatment.

What it involves
The scalp is cleansed and the treatment area is prepared. Fine, controlled micro-channels are created across the scalp with a sterile, single-use needle cartridge, and a professional cosmetic serum is applied during treatment.
Who it may suit
People who would like to discuss the condition of their scalp. Suitability is assessed individually, and where a medical assessment may be more appropriate, we will tell you and refer you on.
Not suitable for everyone
Scalp microneedling may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active scalp infection, inflammation or open wounds, or with some medications. Your full health history is reviewed in consultation.
Number of sessions
A course of three to six sessions, four weeks apart, is usually recommended, depending on your scalp and your goals. Your practitioner will confirm what may suit you at consultation.
Recovery & downtime
Mild redness and tenderness of the scalp are common for one to two days. You’ll be advised when you can wash your hair and use your usual hair products.
Possible risks & side effects
Common: temporary redness, tenderness, pinpoint bleeding or mild swelling. Less common: infection, irritation or a reaction to products used. All risks are discussed with you before treatment
Medical Skin Peel
A professional chemical peel, with the type and strength selected for your skin following assessment.

What it involves
Your skin is cleansed and prepared. A professional peel solution is applied for a carefully timed period, then neutralised or removed, and the skin is soothed and protected.
Who it may suit
People who would like to discuss skin tone, texture or overall skin quality. The type of peel is chosen only after your skin has been assessed.
Not suitable for everyone
Peels may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with recent sun exposure or sunburn, active cold sores, broken or irritated skin, or with some medications or skincare products. Your full health history is reviewed in consultation.
Number of sessions
Some people choose a single peel; others a series spaced several weeks apart. Your practitioner will advise what may suit you.
Recovery & downtime
This depends on the strength of the peel. Mild redness and tightness are common. Flaking or peeling may occur for several days. Strict sun protection is essential afterwards.
Possible risks & side effects
Common: redness, tightness, stinging, dryness and flaking. Less common: prolonged redness, changes in skin pigmentation, a cold sore flare, or irritation. Rare: blistering or scarring. All risks are discussed with you before treatment.
LED Light Therapy
A non-invasive in-clinic treatment using professional LED light. It can be a calm stand-alone appointment or part of a wider skin plan.

What it involves
After cleansing, you relax under a professional LED panel while protective eyewear is worn. There are no needles and nothing is applied to break the skin.
Who it may suit
People looking for a gentle, non-invasive appointment as part of their skin care. Suitability is assessed individually.
Not suitable for everyone
LED may not be appropriate for people with light sensitivity, certain eye conditions, or who take medications that increase sensitivity to light. Your full health history is reviewed in consultation.
Number of sessions
LED is often booked as a series. Your practitioner will advise what may suit you.
Recovery & downtime
There is usually no downtime, and most people return to their day straight away.
Possible risks & side effects
Uncommon: temporary warmth, mild redness or dryness of the skin, or eye discomfort if protective eyewear is not used. All risks are discussed with you before treatment.
When added to a microneedling, scalp microneedling or medical skin peel appointment
Carboxy Therapy
A needle free in-clinic treatment using carbon dioxide. A professional gel and sheet mask are applied to the skin, with no injections and nothing that breaks the skin.

What it involves
Your skin is cleansed. A professional gel is applied, then a sheet mask is placed over it. Together they release carbon dioxide into the skin, which prompts the body to increase local circulation and release more oxygen to the tissue. The mask is removed and the skin is soothed before you leave.
Who it may suit
People looking for a gentle, needle free appointment as part of their skin care, or as a step within a wider skin plan. Suitability is assessed individually.
Not suitable for everyone
Carboxy Therapy may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active skin infection, inflammation or broken skin in the area, with a known allergy to any component of the gel or mask, or with some medical conditions. Your full health history is reviewed in consultation.
Number of sessions
Carboxy Therapy is often booked as a course of three sessions. Your practitioner will advise what may suit you.
Recovery & downtime
There is usually no downtime, and most people return to their day straight away.
Possible risks & side effects
Common: temporary redness, warmth, or a mild tingling or prickling sensation during treatment. Less common: irritation or a reaction to the gel or mask. All risks are discussed with you before treatment.
